Our story
Our names are Kaileigh and Scherezade (Sherry), we are the breeders behind upstate! We both grew up with breeding around us but never thought that one day we would end up here. After years of research and planning, we got Benelli. She has been a big part of this journey and has taught us so many things. We take health testing very seriously and do everything per the GRCA. We chose this breed because of their friendly personality, temperament, drive, and loyalty. Golden retrievers are very versatile, they are excellent family dogs while still being able to participate in sports and other activities. We look forward to answering any and all questions.

Scherezade
Sherry is the one doing research behind the screen, she handles pedigrees and pairings. She is constantly on the OFA website and finding good matches for our program. If you ever have any questions about goals, logistics, and plans for the future she is the one to talk to!

Kaileigh
Kaileigh is the person you will communicate with throughout the process, Sherry does join in on facetime/phone calls and of course in person. Anyone who knows Sherry knows she is not the best at answering phone calls. Kaileigh is very involved in the whelping and raising process with the puppies.
